Class of 2022 Software Engineering (Sino-Sweden Cooperation) Program Study Abroad Seminar Successfully Held
On June 24, 2024, a seminar on study abroad was held in the Academic Lecture Hall for the students of Software Engineering (Sino-Sweden Cooperative Program) of Grade 2022, which was specially organized for the students of Software Engineering (Sino-Sweden Cooperative Program). The seminar invited Prof. Song Wei from the partner institution, the representatives of the outstanding senior students of Class 2020, Zhang Yuanyao, Lin Yaochen and Zhou Qiyun, as well as the student of Class 2022, Luo Yujia, to share their experience of studying abroad and preparation fortheexam.
At the beginning of the seminar, Prof. Song Wei introduced the advantages and characteristics of the Sino-Sweden Cooperative Education Program to the students with his rich international vision and educational experience. He emphasized the important role of the program in cultivating software engineers with international competitiveness and encouraged students to actively participate in international exchanges and broadentheirhorizons.
Afterwards, the representatives of the outstanding seniors of the class of 2020, Mr. Zhang Yuanyao, Mr. Lin yaochen and Ms. Zhou Qiyun, shared their experiences of studying and living in Dalarna University respectively. Mr. Zhang Yuanyao introduced in detail the course mode, project experience and job hunting strategy, especially emphasizing the importance of teamwork and communication skills. Mr. Lin Yaochen shared his thoughts on life, travel and study abroad, showing the richness and colorfulness of study abroad life and personal growth. Mr. Zhou Qiyun painted a vivid picture of the study abroad life for the students from the aspects of natural environment, education and living habitsinSweden.
Finally, Mr. Luo Yujia, a student from the class of 2022, shared his IELTS preparation experience. He provided practical advice and encouragement to the younger students who are about to face the challenges of the language test from the aspects of preparation strategy, time management andmindsetadjustment.
The seminar not only provided students with valuable information and experience sharing about studying abroad, but also stimulated their desire for international education and expectation for personal growth. Students said that through this seminar, they have a deeper understanding of the study abroad life, and are full of confidence and expectation for the future road ofstudyabroad.
